Streamline your FileMaker development efforts by implementing these simple table naming conventions

Swingtree Consulting, creator of the FileMaker Forever website, has refined FileMaker naming conventions and other development standards over the last 22 years to make work easier for developers. These development standards include naming conventions for tables and key fields.

The underlying principle is: Use the table abbreviations wherever possible. Don't complicate things with extra verbiage. This makes identifying tables faster, in scripts, calculation dialogs, and on the relationships graph.
